Endless Blabber: Special Edition

It's been a while. You'll be so surprised at how much has happened in the time I was gone...

I finally got a haircut. Funny thing is, the moment I stepped out of the salon, I looked like Kadaj from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children...Not that I'm complaining.

Got a new game, after months of searching.
So here's the updated PS2 game list of mine:
(Getting higher still...)
- Megaman X7
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of liberty
- Final Fantasy X
- Final Fantasy X-2
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
- Wild Arms 3
- Xenosaga Episode I Der Wille zur Macht
- Megaman X Command Mission
- Sonic Mega Collection Plus
- Risk Global Domination
- Megaman X8
- Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel
- Xenosaga Episode II Jenseits von Gut und Bose
- Metal Slug 4/5
- Devil May Cry 3
- Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir
- Megaman Anniversary Collection
- Shadow the Hedgehog
- Megaman X Collection
- Star Ocean Till the End of Time
- Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition
I have to think about what I'll target next.

I've restarted my beadwork. I stopped it when I was in 3rd year high school and I've just recently started working on some necklaces again. I'm going to try and make some earrings as well. Who knows? If I did well enough, maybe I can sell them.

Speaking of doing stuff, I really should get myself in gear and work on my stories. Although I feel like I shouldn't be saying anything like that. For some reason, stuff I say doesn't happen the way I wanted. >.>

Fullmetal Alchemist is finally on Animax! Well, it was the Amercian dub with the superb dub and the cut songs, but I really shouldn't complain. At least until I get enough money for the subtitled DVDs...

Ah, Summer's here! Damn.

Until next time, RELEASE!

Peach Blow February

Away for almost a month! What the heck's with my absences, you say? What is with me and my absences anyway? It seemed like I love popping in and out of the spotlight...

Not that I do like doing that every once in a while, sort of.

Okay...On with the lame excuses! I dislike February. Valentine's Day's mostly to blame. Along with mushy stuff. Pressure on coming up with seasonal artworks. Mushy stuff. Boredom. Mushy stuff! Chores to do before the heat of Summer arrives. Mushy stuff...

Did I mention 'mushy stuff' already?

Gah! What's with anything mushy anyway?!

I got two PS2 games like four weeks ago, Megaman X Collection and Star Ocean Till the End of Time! I've been playing the latter like crazy ever since I got it. The former...Um, it got overshadowed by the latter.

Hey, Star Ocean's a lot of fun. I like fun things. Especially those hours-long RPGs...

So here's the updated PS2 game list of mine:
(Getting higher still...)
- Megaman X7
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of liberty
- Final Fantasy X
- Final Fantasy X-2
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
- Wild Arms 3
- Xenosaga Episode I Der Wille zur Macht
- Megaman X Command Mission
- Sonic Mega Collection Plus
- Risk Global Domination
- Megaman X8
- Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel
- Xenosaga Episode II Jenseits von Gut und Bose
- Metal Slug 4/5
- Devil May Cry 3
- Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir
- Megaman Anniversary Collection
- Shadow the Hedgehog
- Megaman X Collection
- Star Ocean Till the End of Time

I can't think! The block monsters are at it again!

I REALLY should get my hair cut. Question is, when?

Geh...I keep seeing those games I want for the PSP. If only I could get a PSP. Then again, that's a REALLY big problem.

DARN IT! To a lot of things. Darn it.

Oh, yeah...The horror continues...Hey, it's not yet October and I'm seeing something horrifying! What's horrifying? Part 2 of Initial D Fourth Stage on Animax. Yes, that Taglish-dubbed monstrosity.

I got a really cool (and cute) whistle this morning. It's so tiny yet so shrill. So shrill you'll cringe and grit your teeth when you hear its sound. Perfect.

Until next time, RELEASE!

Cinnamon Imperial

Hmmm...Hmmm...Hmmm...Why do I get the feeling that this year is going to be the same as the last year? Same old, same old...

I'm debating over the idea of selling some art, like bookmarks or mini comics. I don't have any idea how to do so nor how to pull it off nor how to make that idea into reality. I should start forging some contacts. >.>

Hoo-boy...There are lots of new games coming out that I want to play. Especially Megaman X Collection. Problem is, they're really not cheap. And no, don't point me to those pirated stuff.

Where the heck did Shaman King go, HERO?! And what's with the sudden schedule change the moment January the 1st arrived?

I should get my hair cut soon. It's becoming quite heavy... >.<

HAHAHAHA! The results of the recently concluded Metro Manila Filmfest were a big surprise. Didn't think THAT movie wouldn't get even ONE award! I was thinking it'd get at least one but that was unexpected. Though it really wasn't even that good to begin with.

Hollywood special effects? Compare them with The Chronicles of Narnia. So no, not yet. Just a little more should do it. Or at least until they can make an actual believable flight scene. Which makes me wonder, with all those claims about the special effects being top-notch, why do the actors still look like they're merely floating instead of zooming at high speeds, which the background effects suggest? Think about it.

Until next time, RELEASE!

Holiday Cookie

A perfectly normal Christmas for me! Just a perfectly normal Christmas! No awkward reunions, no gut-busting feasts, no ripped wrapping paper to sweep away, no chemical-laced fireworks...Just me, my family and my imaginary friends. That was how Christmas should be.

Has Christmas so commercialized that we forget what Christmas is really about? It's not the presents or the food or the ear-splitting unnecessary explosions.

Err...I'm not going to go on those boring lectures about how Christmas is about the birth of a Savior and not the gift-giving and such. It just ticks me off whenever I think that Christmas is becoming way too commercialized. Not that I can do anything about it.

Wishlist (or Stuff-I-Wanna-Get-For-Myself-Next-Year-But-Most-Likely-Couldn't)!
...It's not bad to dream, is it?
- Hard-bound Harry Potter book set
- At least 5 anime/video game soundtracks
- At least 5 PlayStation 2 games
- At least 2 new books
- PlayStation Portable
- Nintendo DS
- Final Fantasy IV Advance
- Shaman King subtitled DVD
- Tantei Gakuen Q subtitled DVD
- Hagane no Renkinjutsushi subtitled DVD
- Animax back in subtitled format
- HERO airing COMPLETE versions of their anime
- reaching my weight target

*checks list* Well...Most of them sounds impossible...

I finally managed to do a comic, even though it's one ONE page and very very very simple. If you're interested, you can check it out in my devART gallery.

Now then...About my traditional Christmas trip to Tagaytay...Let's not talk about it. Didn't go too well. I'm going to go there again on New Year's Day (traditional New Year's trip) and this time, I hope this trip will end up better.

For the love of...THAT movie isn't even good! STOP HYPING IT UP SO MUCH! The effects are laughable, the acting is crud and THAT'S NOT HOW FLYING IS DONE! No matter how much you can claim that it's state-of-the-art effects, it is still very obvious that the chickens are suspended on wires, not hovering in mid-air with their soggy cardboard wings 'flapping'! No matter how flashy the movies look, I can never get interested enough to even acknowledge their existence.

This year's Christmas isn't very good. Let's hope next year's will be.

Until next time, RELEASE!

All Hail Shadow

I got a new game, Shadow the Hedgehog. It's a great game, if you can get past the somewhat choppy frame rate, the slightly slippery controls and that camera. What's good about this game is that you can choose which path Shadow will take. Hero or villian, you decide. I have to go play some more; I just can't get enough of the Japanese voices. Squeeeeeeee!

So here's the updated PS2 game list of mine:
(Getting higher still...)
- Megaman X7
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of liberty
- Final Fantasy X
- Final Fantasy X-2
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance
- Wild Arms 3
- Xenosaga Episode I Der Wille zur Macht
- Megaman X Command Mission
- Sonic Mega Collection Plus
- Risk Global Domination
- Megaman X8
- Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel
- Xenosaga Episode II Jenseits von Gut und Bose
- Metal Slug 4/5
- Devil May Cry 3
- Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Curse of the Crimson Elixir
- Megaman Anniversary Collection
- Shadow the Hedgehog

Ah, December. Christmas is a few weeks away. And again, I feel so hard pressed for some Christmas artworks. Well, I do have some ideas. The problem is putting them onto paper.

Must lose weight. Must get PSP...Must get PSP for FFVII Crisis Core...

Until next time, RELEASE!

Advent: One-Winged Angel

Well, I finally have it. And what can I say? (insert rabid fanperson shriek)

I must say, it's been a long time since I've watched a good movie. Although there were some few unanswered questions, I had little to no complaints.

Oh, wait...There is one...Why'd Cloud's Omnislash Limit Break have to look so toned-down? Sure, I guess it's to show something new but still, Cloud's Omnislash was like one of the coolest (and flashiest) Limits in the Final Fantasy games. When you remember how it looked in the game and compared it with its movie version, it's kind of a let-down.

Last Order Final Fantasy VII is a very very good anime short! Too bad it only lasted 30 minutes at most, being a bonus and all. Hey, ever wondered how FFVII Advent Children would've looked if it was animated instead of CG? Thinking about that gives me the tingles.

Owning it was one thing, but the process of getting it was hell. I felt like I've done a whole week's worth of walking in just one day! But it was worth it. Heck, even my mother called me 'nuts' after willingly going through that ordeal.

Well, I'm happy now and I feel like my creative energies are returning. I think.

Wait, wait, wait! Seeing that Kadaj and Rockman X have the same voice actor and how Kadaj sounded in FFVII Advent Children...An Irregular Rockman X seemed so...creepy...!

Until next time, RELEASE!

Inky Cookie

Bleagh...TV got busted last Sunday. And was more than twenty years old too. Hope we don't have to buy a new one yet.

Come to think of it, I was badmouthing GMA 7 non-stop last week. *remembers Fullmetal Alchemist* DAMN GMA 7!! I almost forgot you had that show...BECAUSE YOU PUT IT IN A TIMESLOT WHEN I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO A TV! I still have tons to badmouth GMA 7 for but it'd be too much to bear. Must...control...anger...

Until next time, RELEASE!
